Purchase one of the LA REELS MONOLOGUE Books below (This counts as your entry fee!)
This book contains over 150+ original monologues for TV/Film scenes. All monologues are originally written to be from 30-90seconds long when put on camera, for creating original content for your Actor’s Demo Reel, class work, performance pieces and more! We recommend you film the monologues with a scene partner to react with. You can film your own performances and then film their reactions and use that for cutaways, to create an original scene for your Actor’s Demo Reel!
*Tip 1: if you add some interjection dialogue for your Co-Actor in the scene, you can create your own original scene!
*Tip 2: Adjust some of the dialogue and create a phone scene, where you’re having this conversation over the phone, now you don’t need the other actor at all! Film a reel scene on your tele!

PEER VOTING BEGINS
LA REELS will select 6 finalists. Finalists will be contacted via email and voting will commence Monday May 18th @LAREELS Instagram @12pm EST for 24 hours!
Initial Judging by LA REELS will be determined by;
1. Making bold choices, keeping the audience engaged!
2. Choosing a Monologue that is right for your type.
3. Staying within that 1 minute time limit.
4. How well you follow all the directions!
Disclaimer;
A. To accept the Grand Prize you must be present in Atlanta, GA for filming. You will have 1 year from the date of the awards announcement to fulfill Original Scene Production.
