This 3-day Writing | Acting Intensive will place you in the Writer | Actor’s hot seat. From script development, writing, and acting on camera, you’ll be working side by side with Los Angeles producer | actor Brett Newton. You will walk away with professional training and a fully produced scene for your portfolio.
Brett Newton - LA REELS | Producer | Filmmaker | Actor
a professional Actor & Filmmaker understands both sides of the camera. He is the owner of the Los Angeles based production company LA REELS. With over 14 years of TV & Film production experience, from Directing “The Members”, his first televised multi-cam political drama in 2007, to producing original 3D Animated Stories, & launching his first Feature Film the Dark Comedy Thriller “Scramble”. He is an award winning filmmaker, and has been a hands on producer/writer/director for over 3000 original scenes, short films, features, commercials and much more.
His acting career spans from Baby-John in West Side Story, to Harpo Marx in A Day in Hollywood and a night in the Ukraine. He’s performed on stage with Paul Newman, Julie Roberts, Chita Rivera & many other well known artists. On screen he can be seen on ABC’s General Hospital, Netflix’s Glow, and even Deadpool’s Esurance Super Bowl Commercial.

Stephen Beehler - Rolecall | Guest Speaker | Entrepreneur
is a creative entrepreneur with roots in marketing and filmmaking. After several successful consumer product ventures, Stephen's newest launch is the cloud-based casting and film asset management system: RoleCall. When not working to bring efficiency and connectivity to the film world with RoleCall, he can be found writing scripts or working in the Atlanta indie film scene. Stephen is a graduate of Emory's Goizueta Business School where he focused on marketing, venture management, and film studies.
