Starting 9/21/24 - 3 challenges that work your comprehension, direction, & craftiness to play 3 unique characters.

Each CHALLENGE EMAIL will include a SCENE #, title, genre, story/character breakdown, and a downloadable PDF Script and a unique challenge for each scene and character. Do whatever your heart desires to get your scene taped and submitted by the deadline.  Receive private feedback on your scenes, as well as, be 1 of 3 participants eligible to win a private 1 hour career coaching session from Executive Producer & SAG Actor Brett Newton.

RULES
CHALLENGES emailed to all participants @9am EST.
ONLY on-time, properly labeled submissions will receive private feedback.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO PROFESSIONALLY TAPE YOUR SCENES *Record them on your phone vertically or horizontally.
ELIGIBILITY to win a prize, tape in by the deadline, properly tag, label and hash tag.
HAVE fun and set yourself free, you don’t need to memorize. TIP, make sure your sound is decent.

1 hour industry professional career coaching session with Executive Producer & SAG Actor, Brett Newton.  Deep dive into your demo reel, headshots, actors access profile, the LA and Atlanta acting markets, talk about Brett's professional casting process for vertical series & whatever you want to dive into.

WHO
Brett Newton is an Executive Producer and SAG actor with over 20 years of industry experience. Brett serves as the Atlanta Executive Producer for Crazy Maple Studios, creating narrative series for the REELSHORT App. Brett has produced 15 feature-length series, with two more in prep, and continues to cast projects locally and nationally. With LA REELS he has created over 4,000 demo reel scenes worldwide, and even sold his first feature film Scramble to Gravitas Ventures. His recent acting credits include a recurring guest star on Amazon Prime’s American Rust alongside Jeff Daniels, Hulu’s horror film Suitable Flesh with Heather Graham, and a role in Apple TV’s The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey with Samuel L.
